Earning Criteria

• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Flexing my management style’. Subject areas include: Be able to describe a range of management styles and when to use them effectively; Understand own preferred management style(s); Understand when to use each style and why.
• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Delegating’. Subject areas include: Be able to describe and use a delegation process; Understand team members’ personal barriers to delegating effectively; Practised delegating and reflected on what was learnt.
• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Feedback’. Subject areas include: Understand why feedback is important to the manager, team and organisation; Have practised giving feedback using the E2C2 feedback model and reflected on what was learnt; Is competent in giving feedback that is clear and motivational; Be prepared for a range of challenging reactions.
• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Coaching’. Subject areas include: Understand what coaching is and is not as a manager; Have an awareness of a range of coaching skills; Understand a coaching framework; Have practised a coaching conversation and reflected on what was learnt; Ready to use coaching as part of the management toolkit.
• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Managing across cultures’. Subject areas include: Understand the concept of national culture; Have enhanced self-awareness of own personal challenges of working across cultures; Appreciate how culture impacts the workplace.
• Completed experiential learning on the topic of ‘Courageous conversations’. Subject areas include: Understand what a courageous conversation looks like; Practised having a courageous conversation and reflected on learning; Prepared to have courageous conversations in future.
• Attended a virtual workshop to explore and practise concepts to develop team members.
