Students who have completed the undergraduate research in the social sciences badge have developed and implemented a research plan, including completing all necessary trainings and approval processes involved in the collection of human subjects data. They have also disseminated their findings through a final presentation in a poster or presentation symposium.

Earning Criteria

Successfully complete PSYC 1113 Introduction of Psychology or PSYC 2223 Social Problems with a C or better and complete all criteria in the sections of PSYC 1113 and 2223 that have these projects.
Successfully complete Research Project and all require course assignments for PSYC 1113 or PSYC 2223
Successfully complete IRB Application Approval
Successfully complete Human Subject Protection Training Certification
