Earning Criteria
-
To successfully complete the workshop, attendees must score a 75% or better on the following: complete a writing response to two open-ended questions and a multiple-choice quiz asking attendees to determine identifiable and recognizable strategies when given a scenario. Successful completers will recognize classroom management strategies to apply in a given situation, identify strategies to support students with special needs, and develop lesson objectives and create learning experiences.
Standards
Effective teaching standards will follow Marzano's Strategy for Effective Teacher. This model will be used to determine the learning objectives and ultimately what makes an effective teacher.
