Metal Cutting and Welding, Level I
Earners of this micro-credential will have gained foundational knowledge about metal cutting and welding. Earners will utilize chop saws, oxygen-acetylene torches, and plasma torches for cutting metals as well as surface preparation, stick welding, and MIG welding. Earners are required to demonstrate knowledge in safety procedures, set up and project fabrication through a skills assessment and completion of a course fabrication project.
