• Learners must earn a 75% on exit tests for each of the six classes of the micro-credential.

• Skills covered: 1) Identify common hazards associated with hand and power tools. Select and inspect tools for safe operation before use. 2) Apply safe operating procedures when using hand and power tools. 3) Recognize signs of tool damage, wear, or malfunction and take appropriate corrective actions. 4) Prevent workplace injuries by following established safety practices and regulations.
• Skills covered: 5) Explain the purpose and importance of personal protective equipment in the workplace. 6) Identify the types of PPE required for various manufacturing and assembly tasks. 7) Properly select, use, inspect, maintain, and store PPE. 8) Recognize the limitations of different forms of protective equipment. 9) Support a safer work environment by complying with PPE requirements and best practices.
• Skills covered: 10) Describe fundamental assembly processes used in manufacturing environments. 11) Identify common assembly tools, components, and equipment. Interpret basic assembly documentation, instructions, and specifications. 12) Follow standard assembly procedures to ensure product quality and consistency. 13) Understand how assembly operations contribute to overall manufacturing performance.
