Girl Scouts Outdoor Champion

Issued by Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE)

Earners of this badge will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources. Learners will also be experts in camping basics and what procedures need to take place when activities are planned beyond the regular scheduled troop meeting. Upon earning this badge, learners will earn a certification through AHSI and will be valid for two years.

Earning Criteria

Must be an active Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma Member
Must be volunteering within Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma
Must have completed the in-person Wilderness First Aid training show proof of certification received from the class.
Must have completed the online training videos from Health & Safety Institute as well as successfully complete the in-person assessment and show proof of certification received from the class.
Complete the "Camping Basics and Safety" course in gsLearn and will provide proof of completion,
Complete "Beyond the Meeting 1" in gsLearn and will provide proof of completion.
Complete "Beyond the Meeting 2" in gsLearn and will provide proof of completion.
