Earning Criteria

Achieve a grade of Satisfactory in JRMP 3722: Drone Piloting and Videography or AGRC 3002: Drone Piloting and Videography

Earners will learn the basic physical functions of a flight-ready camera drone.

Earners will troubleshoot basic pre-flight, launch, flight, and post-flight functionality of a camera drone.

Earners will navigate for and manually operate a camera drone with guided support.

Earners will complete the Federal Aviation Administration's initial aeronautical knowledge test, "Unmanned Aircraft General - Small (UAG)."

Earners will be competent in physically flying drones as well as laws associated with drone flight. Student will be prepared to take the FAA drone pilot certification exam.
