ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor
This micro-credential is the first in a series of stackable credentials and combines a prep course for the ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor exam and current CPR/AED certification by American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Students learn to lead dynamic, inclusive group fitness classes with a focus on programming, motivation techniques, music selection, and safety protocols. This course is ideal for students or professionals pursuing careers in health, fitness, or wellness.

Earning Criteria

Earners are encouraged to continue building their skills by pursuing additional micro-credentials in this series, including Yoga Teacher Training, Recovery in Sports and Exercise Specialist, and Active Aging Specialist.

Earners may continue their education by enrolling in Rose State College’s certificate programs in Personal Training, Exercise/Fitness Management, or Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER), each of which offers a digital badge upon completion.
