Lean Six Sigma-Black Belt is an advanced-level training for Lean Six Sigma. This badge recognizes the practical use of the five-step DMAIC methodology—Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control—and how it is used. The person completing this training is also prepared to lead and guide others on process improvement projects. There is a heavy emphasis on statistical analysis. It also recognizes the knowledge, skills, and abilities gained in applying a variety of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
