The Welding assessments measure a student’s ability to apply knowledge and skills as an Entry Level Welder. These assessments were developed and aligned with the American Welding Society (AWS) completion requirements for Level 1 — Entry Welder SENSE certification.

Complete any course work in an Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education approved program that encompasses the areas included in the objectives/blueprint for the certification assessment. All approved programs lead to industry-recognized credentials within our network of accredited technology centers.
