Participants will gain fundamental automotive knowledge regarding General Motor steering and suspension systems and heating and air conditioning systems in order to diagnose and repair systems to meet needs of automotive service customers. Students must successfully complete AT 2304 (GM Suspension and Steering) and AT 2334 (GM Heating & Air Conditioning Systems) with a passing score of D or higher in order to earn this micro‐credential.

AT 2304 GM Suspension and Steering - this course is an application of basic competencies in steering systems, suspension systems and wheel alignment diagnosis, adjustment and repair. Learners will further discuss and demonstrate an understanding of wheel and tire diagnosis and repair on current General Motors vehicles.

AT 2334 GM HVAC - learners will apply competencies in air conditioning system diagnosis and repair as well as diagnosis and repair of refrigeration system components, heating and engine cooling systems and control units on current General Motors vehicles.
