This basic level course will introduce the fundamentals of microscopy, including its components, proper use and maintenance, troubleshooting common issues, and making a wet mount slide. This course should help prepare individuals for lab work by providing visual examples of microscopy techniques before starting the hands-on portion during lab or research. Expected time 2 hours.
