Recipients of the How People Learn badge increased their knowledge of the theories and evidence-based principles/practices that support the learning process. They explored the role of individual experience, prior knowledge, beliefs, and values in learning, as well as the concepts of cognitive architecture, expertise, self-direction, meta-cognition, and multi-media. They wrote a personal learning reflection and conducted a case study focused on another learner. This is a level 3 badge.
