Earning Criteria

  • Earners must complete: ELED 4363 Number Sense and Operation: Content and Pedagogy and READ 4213 Remediation for Dyslexia and Struggling Readers with a "B" or better.
  • SLO 1. Recognize students who exhibit signs of SLD and determine when additional screening is needed.
  • SLO 2. Analyze student work and design unit adaptations that embed evidence-based strategies to mitigate SLD-related learning barriers.
  • SLO 3. Create a professional resource synthesizing classroom strategies for SLD support.
