Students will debate ideas with others expressing charity, creativity, and sincerity. Students will discern the validity of philosophical or propositional arguments. Students will gain a greater understanding of key concepts like modernity, capitalism, idealism, empiricism, humanism, and various religious systems. Students will learn to effectively communicate ideas and information verbally, visually, and in writing. May be combined for a certificate.

May be combined with International Relations / Comparative Politics and Political Theory for a certificate. Earners are also required to complete 9 hours from the courses listed with a grade of 'B' or better.
