The Outdoor Recreation Facilitator badge will provide an individual with a well - rounded knowledge base on how to create unique outdoor recreational activities and how to lead individuals safely through those activities. A grade of a C must be earned to obtain the badge.

Earning Criteria

1. Identify how to teach various outdoor recreational activities to people of all ages. 2. Identify how to put together and lead a safe and successful hiking and camping experience. 3. Demonstrate how to be a successful leader in the recreation setting. 4. Recognize how to respond to different emergency scenarios that may occur out in the wilderness.

Complete PED 2232: Outdoor Rec Activities at a C (70%) or better.

Complete REC 2222: Camp Recreation at a C (70%) or better.

Complete REC 3212: Recreation Leadership at a C (70%) or better.
