  • 1. Identify how to teach various outdoor recreational activities to people of all ages. 2. Identify how to put together and lead a safe and successful hiking and camping experience. 3. Demonstrate how to be a successful leader in the recreation setting. 4. Recognize how to respond to different emergency scenarios that may occur out in the wilderness.
  • Complete PED 2232: Outdoor Rec Activities at a C (70%) or better.
  • Complete REC 2222: Camp Recreation at a C (70%) or better.
  • Complete REC 3212: Recreation Leadership at a C (70%) or better.
  • Complete REC 3553: Wilderness First Aid at a C (70%) or better.
