Organize and lead formal group meetings; Work with others to solve problems and craft plausible solutions; Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation when working with diversity; Achieve personal communication goals when working with groups; Understand one’s place in group development and building effective groups/teams; Identify the traits of effective and ineffective groups; Use effective strategies to decrease one’s personal communication anxiety.

Apply effective scheduling, meeting times and spaces, agendas, and minutes in a group meeting.

Explain basic group concepts and theories.

Construct personal communication goals for the semester.

Deliver a minimum of three (3) group presentations which will be evaluated with the NSU Communication Studies general education criteria.
