Students will define and analyze problems, considering a range of alternative points of view and evidence. Students will learn to effectively communicate ideas and information verbally, visually, and in writing. Students will build collaborative relationships with peers representing diverse cultures, races, genders, religions, lifestyles, and viewpoints, while working within a team structure, negotiating and managing conflict.

Earning Criteria

Earners must complete 3 (9 credit hours) of the following courses with a grade of "B" or better: Pols 2313 Introduction to International Relations (core), Pols 2353 Introduction to Comparative Politics (core), Pols 3011 Model United Nations (When enrolled 3 for semesters), Pols 4153 Regional Politics (may be taken twice), Pols 4223 Women in Politics, Pols 4413 American Foreign Policy, Pols 4603 Topics in Global Issues (may be taken twice).
