Teacher candidates will gain knowledge and implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, functional, and social strategies effective for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Teacher candidates will learn to design curriculum based off the individual needs of students, state standards, and appropriate placement options. Teachers will create and implement Individualized Education Plans for students with ASD.

Earners must complete: SPED 5203 with a grade of B or better.
