  • Earner must complete: ECED 5313 with a grade of B or better.
  • SLO 1. Identify leaders in early childhood education (past and present) and describe their roles in the education of young children.
  • SLO 2. Identify and describe theories of child development that have influenced early childhood education.
  • SLO 3. Trace society’s changing perspective of children and the resulting programs for young children.
  • SLO 4. Identify and describe early childhood programs which have been developed to meet the needs of a diversified population.
