Advanced Applied Communication Skills

Earners could write a research paper, complete a training and development project, compile a portfolio, etc., as approved by the program coordinator or department chair. Earners will present their project to demonstrate mastery of communication competencies.

Earning Criteria

Badge earners must complete the following course: COMM 4993 Communication Capstone with a grade of ‘C’ or higher.
Demonstrate mastery of communication concepts
Complete an internship, portfolio, research paper, or service learning project
Apply communication major outcomes to project
Convey complex ideas clearly and effectively in an oral presentation
