The general principles badge is issued to earners that ethically plan and evaluate a client's financial future through the development of a comprehensive financial plan. Successfully passing the Certified Financial Planner - General Principles course with a 70 or higher is required. The course evaluation methods include quizzes, a final exam, and submission of a draft financial plan. The course takes approximately one month (six class meetings and 38 hours of educational content) to complete.
