Earners of the Demystifying Deep Learning badge have gained an introduction to the theory of deep learning including forward and backpropagation, convolutional neural networks, sequence models, transformers, and deep generative models. Additionally, earners of this badge participated in a tutorial on automatic differentiation with the use of Python libraries Tensorflow and Pytorch to train and deploy a model on the cloud. This was supported by US NSF award 2217346.
