…skills continued… • Install fault-indicating devices in URD systems • Describe trenching methods for URD systems • Identify switchgear, transformers, and conductors used in URD systems • Install single- and three-phase overhead loops • Install risers on poles • Terminate underground secondary services • Inspect/maintain distribution lines • Re-conductor overhead lines • Test, inspect, and replace aerial transformers • Replace cross-arms, arresters, switches, insulators, and related hardware
Completed training through an NCCER Accredited training organization. Successfully demonstrated to an NCCER-certified instructor and/or evaluator the performance task requirements for this level. Successfully completed the course modules and passed the knowledge based examinations.
