Individuals can describe the process of conduit bending using power tools. They can identify the parts of electric and hydraulic benders. They know how to safely use mechanical, hydraulic and electrical benders to bend conduit. They are able to bend offsets, kicks, saddles, segmented bends and parallel bends. They understand how to compute the radius, degrees in bend, developed length and gain for conduit up to six inches. They are aware of the NEC® requirements for bending conduit.
