Individuals understand the purpose and functionality of the various types of drawings used by pipefitters. They can read and interpret plot plans, structural drawings, elevation drawings, as-built drawings, equipment arrangement drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, spool drawings, detail sheets and orthographic drawings. They are familiar with line lists, scales, specifications, notes and symbology. They are able to create orthographic and isometric field sketches.
