…skills continued… • Explain how to avoid struck-by and caught-in-between hazards • Identify energy-related hazards and electrical safety guidelines • Inspect power cords and GFCIs to ensure serviceability • Describe basic lockout/tagout procedures • Explain how to inspect PPE and use it properly • Don eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat, gloves, and fall arrest harness • Identify fire hazards and basic firefighting procedures • Describe safety considerations for confined spaces
Completed training through an NCCER Accredited training organization. Successfully demonstrated to an NCCER-certified instructor and/or evaluator the performance task requirements for this level. Successfully completed the course module and passed the knowledge based examination.
