Individuals have knowledge of the systems, equipment and operating characteristics of commercial airside systems. They can explain the purpose and function of ventilation and exhaust systems. They are able to identify and describe configurations such as constant volume single-zone and multi-zone, VVT, VAV and dual-duct VAV. They can describe air terminal operation and related air delivery devices. They are familiar with the forms and components of various airflow sources and accessories.
