Landscape Management Apprenticeship Program
The course provides comprehensive training to advance skills and qualification on a national level, builds a trusted workforce of landscape professionals. Topics include organizing and maintaining equipment and tools; maintaining landscapes; installing trees and shrubs; applying fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides; reading and analyzing job sites and blue prints; programming and adjusting irrigation and low/voltage lightning systems; and identifying plants and flowers.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include quizzes, performance rubrics (checklists), and examinations with a minimum passing score of 80 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, discussion, computer-based training, practical exercises, learners presentations, and classroom exercise.
