The earner of this badge attended a two-hour professional development workshop and film screening as related to working with students who have developmental disabilities in the Spring of 2022. The film "Intelligent Lives" was viewed by participants, and an in-depth discussion followed. Participants challenged their pre-conceived notions of what "intelligence" means, as well as who attends college and for what purpose.
