The purpose of the Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) ® certification program is to recognize through certification, individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front-line (entry-level to front-line supervisor) through successful completion of the certification assessments. Candidates will learn the foundational knowledge required in logistic environments. This course is Part 1 of the MSSC Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) program.

Earning Criteria

The Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) assessment is based upon the following skills: 1-Global supply chain logistics life cycle 2-Logistics environment 3-Material handling equipment 4-Safety principles 5-Safe material handling and equipment operation 6-Quality control principles 7-Workplace communications 8-Teamwork and workplace behavior to solve problems 9-Using computers. This is an online proctored assessment.
The candidate will be recognized through successful certification, that they demonstrate mastery of the foundation competencies required in today's logistics environment. Candidates will be prepared for positions ranging from entry-level to front-line supervisor. The Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) course is the first of two classes that will earn the candidate the full MSSC Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification.
