Earning Criteria

  • Through practical activities and on-site visits to Laing O’Rourke’s Australian Hub Office (100 Mount Street), earners have a foundational level of understanding of how Laing O’Rourke approaches technology and innovation in the construction industry. This includes how Laing O’Rourke is using digital engineering including the benefits and an introduction to Navisworks. Additionally, how the use of robotics is being used by Laing O’Rourke to solve construction problems.
  • Earners have interacted with a wide range of industry professionals including Digital Engineers, Engineering Managers, Product Engineers and Design Managers. Earners have been able to ask questions of the professionals to assist them to understand the diversity of career options the Construction Industry has to offer.
