The badge teaches the skills of a technician supporting energy management activities. Conducting measurement and verification activities with the use of different data collection devices and methods, assessing buildings for ways to save energy, assessing energy conservation measures, analyzing utility billing, and activities necessary to complete an ASHRAE Level 1 audit. The earner will also learn to support commissioning efforts including functional performance testing.
