Earning Criteria

Participants worked as part of a virtual team to complete the minimum set of challenges presented to them as per the Azure Purview lab guide. This involved the provisioning of a fictional data estate, with sources registered and scanned into an Azure Purview account, populating the underlying data catalogue, then subsequently enriching the catalogue with glossary terms, classifications, insights, and more.
The objective of this workshop was for participants to get hands-on with the Azure Purview service and understand key concepts as teams collectively worked through the various modules (Register & Scan, Glossary, Classifications, Lineage, Insights, Monitoring, Integration with Synapse Analytics, and the REST API).
Participants demonstrated foundational-level knowledge on Azure Purview by completing the minimum set of modules and associated knowledge checks at the end of each exercise.
