Deep dive into a UX project over 16 weeks in an agency like environment. Starting with research and discovery, into Ideation, Prototyping and Designing, and Finally Testing & Refining. While learning Students will hone their Design thinking & presentation skills, wrapping up with some portfolio building sessions.

Students learn how to best way to showcase themselves as designers, and the process of a UX project. Also included is resume review and what employers are looking for to prepare participants for the interview that could launch their career.

Over the 16 weeks students will have to chance to learn how to build decks and present UX work along the various stages of the process. They will gain confidence in describing and explaining their work, demonstrate their point of view, and provide a rationale for design decisions.

Some Skills Covered: Research Methodologies, Personas & Customer Journey Mapping, Ideation & Sketching Techniques, Accessibility, Design Systems, User Flows, Wireframing, Prototyping and Collaboration software (Miro + Figma), User Testing Methodologies and more.

Work with real clients in an agency like setting. Students work on and deliver projects to real live clients & walk away with two projects overseen by industry experts for their UX Design portfolio.
