Earning Criteria

  • Annual subscription of MII Institutional Membership and/or sponsorship of employee’s MII Individual Membership
  • For insurance and financial services sector: All insurance institutions registered or licensed under the Financial Services Act 2013 or regulated by the Labuan Financial Services Authority.
  • For educational sector: Institutions of Higher Learning, Colleges, Vocational Schools and other institutions recognised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) or Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
  • For other local sector: Other institutions and organisations operating in an insurance related field or in the financial services sector in Malaysia.
  • For other international sector: Other institutions and organisations operating in an insurance related field or in the financial services sector outside Malaysia.

Standards

MII Membership Code of Ethics and Conduct (COEC)
Members of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), as described by the Constitution, shall continuously uphold and abide by the ethical principles of COEC that are vital to the achievement of a high standard of professionalism across the insurance industry.
