Earners of the AMC Wilderness First Aid badge have demonstrated the practical skills and drills necessary to provide first aid delivery as a secondary responsibility of their work. Earners have demonstrated the ability to perform basic physical assessments of a person or environment, guide prevention of medical problems anticipated within an outdoor activity or environment, and administer treatment focused on stabilization of emergency situations. CPR and AED certifications are included.
