This badge earner took an ACTFL speaking proficiency exam and was rated at the Novice High level according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. Speakers at this level can manage uncomplicated communicative tasks in straightforward situations. Novice High speakers respond to simple, direct questions or requests for information and they are also able to ask a few formulaic questions.
