Earners of the Peer Course Development badge demonstrate course design based on the California Online Educational Intitiative (OEI) Course Design Rubric. They can evaluate a course and identify areas that are aligned or exemplary and provide specific examples of how to improve areas that are incomplete. Badge earners evaluate course content presentation, interaction, assessment, and basic accessibility. The earners work in peer review teams to discuss and evaluate their courses.
