Project Experience - Demonstrated most of the 11 SRE core skills at a deep level: System Thinking for Reliability; Software Engineering; Deploy and Release Services; Automation; Monitoring and Event Management; Troubleshooting; Data-driven/Scientific approach to fact-finding; Mathematical models for trend analysis; Tools and technology across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Organizational Knowledge; Strong Communication, Collaboration, and Negotiation skills.

Giveback: Enhanced and maintained Kyndryl technical community vitality through giveback, mentoring others (Three mentees required), teaching, speaking at events, developing intellectual capital and assets, presentations, and voluntary work for the SRE Profession.

Kyndryl Experience: Successfully completed at least 1 project for Kyndryl in the SRE role, demonstrating the breadth of SRE experience.

Project History: Provide a chronology of additional projects where SRE skills have been applied.

Specialty Credential: Certify on a cloud platform to demonstrate knowledge and ability to use a specific modern technology. The Specialty Credential must differ from the evidence provided for Level 1 certification (by role or platform).

Interview: Complete an interview with Professional Certification Board reviewer(s) to respond to questions on the applicant's experience as an SRE. Achieved SRE Certification with the approval of the SRE Profession Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Level 2 SRE Profession Certificate is valid for four years, after which candidates must apply for the next level OR re-certify to maintain this credential.
