Baking Basics provided a broad overview of the ingredients and processes needed to make popular baked products in the market. After engaging in lectures and hands-on sessions, participants were able to explain and troubleshoot function of ingredients, processing steps, and production processes in breads, cakes and cookies.

Knowledge: Learners will explain the function of ingredients, processing steps, and production processes in bakery products. Critical Thinking: Learners will apply problem solving tools to ingredients, formulation and processing of bakery products, supporting business strategies such as growth into new markets and sustainability initiatives.
