This badge is issued in recognition of the earner's engagement in research or creative activities as part of the OSRC scholarship program. Under the mentorship of a faculty mentor and guidance of OSRC staff, earners have developed a deeper understanding of the intellectual and practical application of their works, parallel to their conceptual knowledge in their fields. Earners have also shown individual initiative and responsibility in their research/creative projects.
Earning Criteria

This badge acknowledges that earners have been selected as Research and Creativity Scholarship recipients, have attended and actively participated in events and trainings sponsored by the Office for Student Research and Creativity, have shown commitment to their research/creative project by performing the work required and regularly consulting with their mentors, have presented their work several times in different formats including during the Research & Creativity Expo.

Earners have participated in required research or creative trainings/events/activities sponsored by the Office for Student Research and Creativity, have shown commitment to their project and have participated in the annual Research & Creativity Expo. Students must receive a nomination by the OSRC Assistant Director.
