Earners of the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation demonstrate an understanding of life, health and other group benefits. With curriculum and exams developed by the program co-sponsor Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, designees are prepared to effectively design, fund, administer, and communicate group benefits. The GBA is part of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS) credential, offered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
