The online curriculum was developed by Dr. Tony Schmitz, Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK), and Joint Faculty at ORNL. The online curriculum includes approximately two hours of instruction and is composed of an introduction to manufacturing measurements, which covers measurement transducers for displacement, velocity, acceleration, strain, temperature, part dimensions, surface finish, and internal geometry introduction to measurement uncertainty.
