Earning Criteria

Learners will identify their preferred leadership style(s) and learn how to apply the most effective leadership style to engage and motivate their team members.

Learners will identify their motivational values and understand how these impact their behaviours, discover their strengths and overdone strengths at work and how their behaviour changes when faced with conflict.

Learners will be able to manage the performance of team members with the framework of UK law to improve and maintain performance. This includes providing feedback effectively and knowing when to provide training, coaching, counselling or disciplinary procedures.

Learners will be able to coach their team members to improve individual and team performance using the GROW coaching process and associated interpersonal skills.

Learners will be able to apply the science of persuasion and other influencing skills to plan and implement change effectively with their team members and other key stakeholders.
