The delegate has gained a greater appreciation of individual difference and, using a personal profiling tool, has increased self-awareness and improved ability to recognise mindset, beliefs and strengths that improve communication and leadership.

The delegate has developed a range of strategies for people development, including the use of training, coaching and mentoring, and when to use them. They have a clear understanding of how to use a coaching management style including using the GROW model, both for formal and informal coaching conversations and in general performance management.

The delegate has a robust knowledge of what makes a team perform effectively, including theories of team development and dysfunctional teams and how to apply these to their role.

The delegate has learned and understood models of emotional intelligence and how to apply these to leadership; drawing links between self-awareness and empathy to become an effective leader.
