The Corporate and Executive Coaching training programme is an ILM Recognised programme of learning, created and delivered by The Coaching Academy for coaches wishing to operate in this area. The programme aims to develop knowledge and skills by focusing on specialisms such as Leadership coaching, coaching through change, coaching for conflict resolution and effective team coaching.

Earning Criteria

Career Management The individual is able to assist their client in developing career goals, thinking through career tactics and designing career paths. This individual can examine organisational values and link their clients personal values to them.

Coaching Leadership The individual has an understanding of the different leadership challenges, the role of coach for talent management and the key differences between leaders and managers.

Coaching through Change This individual understands the different models of change to enable individuals to understand where within the cycle of change they are. The individual has learned how to overcome resistance to change and to maintain a motivated workforce. They understand the role that a 'coach' plays within the organisation 'journey of change'.

Coaching towards Conflict Resolution. This individual understands typical causes of conflict, symptoms, types and aspects of conflict. They also understand how 'move on' and think about different potential outcomes to that conflict.

Effective team coaching. This individual is proficient in setting the boundaries for the team interactions, the sources of interference within teams along with the complexities of goal setting for larger groups of people. They also gained skills in carrying out effective learning reviews to measure team progress.
Standards
The programme falls within the ILM Footprint of Leadership, Management, Coaching, Mentoring and Enterprise. It is well structured with appropriate governance and management to deliver consistently high-quality learning outcomes and objectives. Learners are fully supported and receive recognition for their achievement.
