Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM and a member of a Works Council or a Works Council Committee. Proof of Works council experience by being a Works Council (or Works Council Committee) member for at least 1 year or has been active in Works Council related activities. Present an e-mail of your country Works Council chairman acknowledging your relevant Works Council experience.

Demonstrate knowledge of: Structure and modus operandi of your countries Works Council and Committees; Works Council law(s)/legal structures in your country; The IBM WW organisation structure; Who is who in country IBM organisation (LoB leaders, Finance, HR). And, if applicable: Works Council regulations; Knowledge of Staff Guide (content, staff rights and obligations).

Write down how you have demonstrated the following skills in practice during your Works Council membership: Negotiation (how you have defended a position in a structured and argued manner); Presentation (how you presented a subject to IBM or other Works Council members); Cooperation (how you cooperated with other Works Council members) and what activities you have been involved in to engage the employees you represent.
