Earning Criteria

Must be an IBM Employee

Demonstrated at least 5 of the following SRE skills at the applied level: System Thinking for Reliability, Software Engineering, Deploy and Release Services, Automation, Monitoring & Event Management, Troubleshooting, Data-driven/ scientific approach to fact-finding, Mathematical and statistical models to assess trends, Tools & Technology across the SDLC life cycle, Organizational Knowledge, Strong communication / collaboration / negotiation skills

Enhanced and maintained IBM's technical vitality through giveback, through mentoring others (required), teaching, speaking at events, development of Intellectual capital and assets, presentations and voluntary work for the Profession

Successfully completed at least 2 projects in the SRE role, demonstrating breadth of SRE experience. At least one project must be performed while employed by IBM.

Certify on cloud platform and technologies, referred to as Specialty in order to demonstrate knowledge and ability to use a specific technology.

Achieved SRE Certification by the approval of the profession Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
