This badge is isseud to aspiring inventors who successfully complete a Developing Inventors as a Service (DIaaS)-powered program, with active participation; undergoing all the invention process phases with their group, till submission of the disclosures. Completing the program provides an aspiring inventor clarity on the invention process, skills and techniques required to successfully disclose inventions. The badge can only be granted once and could be attempted/applied for multiple times.

Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM
Completion of DIaaS enablement learning - Gain an understanding of the Invention Process in IBM, end to end by completing all required DIaaS enablement learning content.
Demonstrate active involvement in disclosure submission in DIaaS-powered programs/initiatives. Confirmation for active participation from program leader or group leaders of a DIaaS-powered Aspiring Inventors initiative. If the program is run as an AoT initiative, then a screen shot of the participant's rating from the AoT website, showing a rating of STANDARD participation or higher would suffice, otherwise, email confirmation from program leader is expected.
Show proof of disclosure submission in ThinkIP with name of aspiring inventor on the submission.
